Chrome Extension

Overview​

Carta CRM's Chrome extension lets you add contacts, companies, deals, investors, and notes to Carta CRM directly from your browser, without leaving the page you're on.

Prerequisites​

  • A Carta CRM account
  • Google Chrome, or another Chromium-based browser that supports the Chrome Web Store

Adding the extension​

  1. Open the Carta CRM listing on the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click Add to Chrome.
  3. Pin the extension to your toolbar so it's always one click away.
  4. Click the icon and sign in with your Carta CRM account when prompted.

Using the extension​

Once installed, the extension icon sits in the top-right corner of Chrome. What it shows you depends on the page you're viewing:

  • Add a company from any website — on a company's site (e.g. company.com), save it into Carta CRM as a Deal, Company, Investor, or Fundraising opportunity.
  • Save a LinkedIn profile — on a LinkedIn profile page, add the person to a Carta CRM contact list.
  • Tag notes to what you're viewing — attach a note to the company or profile you're on, without switching to the Carta CRM web app.

Removing the extension​

Right-click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar and select Remove from Chrome, or remove it from chrome://extensions.
